Join HSCF

Please complete the three steps below to become a new HSCF member or to renew your membership.

The HSCF membership year is from October 1 to September 30. Registration for the new HSCF season will open in early October, after membership fees have been set at the September AGM.

The annual membership fee is not prorated for any months missed, so we do not generally accept new memberships late in the membership year.

Step 1: Review Membership Information

Benefits of Membership

Membership includes the whole family.
Membership provides a network of support for your homeschooling journey.
Membership gains access to HSCF Meetings & Events (Fellowship, Christmas Program, Curriculum Sale, Science & Heritage Fair, Poetry Cafe, Track & Field, Speakers, …).
Membership allows use of the HSCF Library that provides many Christian resources that are not available in the public library.
Membership allows a discounted Track & Field fee. All other events are included with membership.

Criteria for Membership

You may apply for an HSCF membership if you meet the following criteria:

You are considering undertaking home-schooling, actively home-schooling, or home-schooled in the past.
You pay the HSCF Membership fee. (Fee for current year posted in Registration Form.)
You agree with the HSCF Statement of Faith and the HSCF Liability Information.

Statement of Faith

I believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and is my supreme and final authority.
I believe there is one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
I believe our Lord Jesus is the Son of God, conceived of the Holy Spirit to Mary, a virgin. He died on a cross. The shedding of His blood was the atonement for my sins. I believe He was raised from the dead and ascended to heaven - where He is my advocate at the Father's right hand.
I believe in the personal and literal return of Jesus Christ for His Church.
I believe Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven and that a person must receive Him as their Saviour and Lord.
I believe in life after death - either in heaven or in hell.

Liability Information

HSCF assumes no liability and all events & activities are at your own risk and responsibility. If your family chooses to participate in HSCF group events, please be informed about the nature & safety of each event and of the appropriate conduct expected; you as the parent are solely responsible for your child/ren at all times. An organizer may additionally require you to sign a waiver for an event in which you choose to participate.
By registering, you have given consent to receive HSCF member emails.
We reserve the right to withhold membership privileges if a member misrepresents or misuses an HSCF membership in any way.

Payment may be made via Paypal, credit or debit. If you wish to pay with cash or cheque, please contact the HSCF treasurer (hscftreasurer@gmail.com) to make arrangements.
